2023 New Year Consecration Prayer and Fasting

PEKGSU 2023 New Year

Breakthrough Prayers

21-Day Prayer & Fasting

“When I feel myself growing spiritually dry, when I don’t sense that cutting edge anointing, when I need a fresh encounter with God, FASTING is the secret key that unlocks heaven’s door and slams shut the gates of hell.” - Jentezen Franklin

The 2023 New Year Breakthrough Prayers 21-Day Prayer and Fasting will go from Monday, January 2, 2023, to Sunday, January 22, 2023. During these 21 days, we will focus on praying for our breakthrough.

The discipline of fasting releases the anointing, the favor, and the blessing of God in the life of a Christian. So, if you are not content to go through this year the way you went through last year, now is the time to use the discipline of fasting to see breakthroughs. You know there’s more...there’s an assignment for your life, there’s something God desires to release in your life, and there is genuine desperation for those things gripping your heart.1

Breakthrough has been defined as “a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique” or “an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle”.2 However, a spiritual breakthrough refers to a rupture, a tear, a breaking up or shattering of something: a breach created in a wall of an enemy.”3 In a spiritual sense, a breakthrough is getting to experience a new and higher level of spirituality.4

This Breakthrough Prayers 21-Day Prayer and Fasting will focus on our God being the God of the breakthrough. In 2021, we prayed for a reset and refresh as well as to be energized to remain spiritually prepared. In 2022, we prayed for God to provide emotional and physical healing as we ascended to the next stage of glory with immediacy in all that we have prayed

and asked God for in our lives.

This year as we stand in Yaweh’s glory and see the LORD breakthrough our situations, I invite and encourage you to pray the scripture which means, read it and ponder over what God is saying about it for at least during the day. Journaling helps with this as it keeps your mind focused on meditating on the scriptures, especially if this is not a common or familiar practice to you. When you speak, speak in present tense.

John 14:14 (ESV) If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

Blessings, Pastor Gimel
